If you’ve ever bought anything from TI, ST, DigiKey, or any other electronics parts shop you have experienced the survey.  The one that asks you the name of your company, your role, the industry that you’re in, what the project is going to be, and whether it is going to be used in a nuclear weapon.  Those forms were the birthplace of SparkleChicken Heavy Industries, Aerospace company that makes motorcycle parts and large scale solar inverters.
